From the bivouac, we will drive to the former factory site of the Honig in Nijmegen. Here the food crates will be loaded into different vehicles and we will leave in the direction of 10 Civil Affairs Issues Depot. This depot was established in April 1945 on the factory site of the ENKA in Ede. In memory of Operation Faust and this depot, a monument will be revealed.

An individual route has been set out in the area of Ede. The route will pass historical points concerning Operation Faust in May 1945 and other memorable sites at the Veluwe.

 

During the day the bivouac will be open for visitors, to show them the various types of vehicles and equipment present at the bivouac.

A route will be driven going from bivouac to Leusden, Achterveld and back to Ede. In Achterveld there will be a static show in area around the St - Jozefschool.

 

Just as in April 1945, the various delegations will arrive again here for the Food Conference.

 

Commemoration of the Dead

In the evening various commemorations will taken place in the area, the participants are free of choice to participate at one of them.

The so called 'Polar Bear' Liberation Tour will be driven this day. The route will pass through the various villages on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug and end in the city of Utrecht. Here a parade will be held through the city, just as during the Liberation of the city at the 7th of May 1945.

 

In Utrecht the food supplies in the crates will be handed over to the various food banks in the region.

 

In the evening there will be a "Liberty Ball" for the participants of KTR Operation Faust 2020 at the bivouac.

Depature of the participants and decamp of the bivouac. Which will bring Operation Faust 2020 to a end, commemorate and celebrate the 75 years of Freedom in the Netherlands.
